I'm seriously considering to make a Super Smash Bros. fanfic about the in-universe process of how characters end up in Smash.

Before I do anything major with it (such as a animation), it'll be easier to fully write out each episode in text first. Each text episode will serve as the script for the animated versions of the episodes.
The genre of the fanfic is action-comedy. It will be rated T.
For the moment, the name of the fanfic is "Super Smash Bros. Tryouts"
It will function as some sort of gameshow, with an original character of mine as the host. The audience of the gameshow will be characters who are already confirmed for Smash Bros.
It will begin with how the original roster for Smash Bros. 64 came to be, and then ultimately works its way up to beyond Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U.
Each episode will be organised into "phases":
Phase 1: The Fighter Introduction Phase
Phase 1 introduces the viewers to the fighters who wish to be in Smash Bros, explaining their backstories to the viewers in case any of the viewers never heard of them.
Phase 2: The Music Video Phase
Phase 2 has remixes of fan-favorite OSTs that they want in Smash Bros, which have fitting music videos to go aloneside them. The Music Video Phase can overlap with the Final Phase if the OST in question happens to be a battle theme, especially if it's a final boss theme.
Phase 3: The Assist Trophy Phase
Phase 3 introduces the viewers to characters that will be Assist Trophies, along with explaining their backstories.
Phase 4: The Stage Introduction Phase
Phase 4 introduces the viewers to the locations that fans want to be Smash Bros. stages.
Final Phase: The Battle Phase
The Final Phase has the fighters introduced in Phase 1 be transported to a random location. Whoever survives 24 hours at the location earns their Smash Bros. nomination. The location and the inhibitants of the location does not have to be Nintendo-related at all, because the only purpose that the location has is for entertainment. (For example, the location can be any real world or fictional location, such as Jurassic Park and Cybertron)
However, there will be a secret main antagonist to this fanfic who will be revealed in Episode 11, which is fittingly enough the "Up To Eleven" episode in regards to the Final Phase of that episode.
